Alzheimers Disease

Sat 7th-May-2016

Alzheimers is the most common form of dementia, a group of disorders in which progressive destruction of brain cells leads to increasingly severe decline in memory, thinking, and reasoning. Millions of Americans suffer from Alzheimers disease. Symptoms typically begin with difficulty remembering new information, then progress to greater and greater disruption in memory, reasoning, judgment, and personality. Affected individuals gradually lose the ability to perform customary daily activities and self-care, becoming bedridden in the final stages of the disease. Alzheimers is ultimately fatal because it eventually affects the ability to move and to swallow. The most common form of the disease, called late-onset Alzheimers, occurs primarily in people who are at least 65 years old. Increasing age is the greatest risk factor for late-onset disease, which affects 10 percent of individuals over 65 and nearly 50 percent of those over 85. Scientists believe that most cases of late-onset Alzheimers arise from a complex combination of genetic and non-genetic factors rather than from any single cause. Rare forms of Alzheimers called early-onset familial disease have been linked to specific mutations in single genes. Having one of these mutations guarantees that individuals will develop Alzheimers, usually in their 30s or 40s. Familial early-onset individuals account for less than five percent of cases.

Why so many pyramids
written by Kumar , December 26, 2007

U used 10,000 pyramids in your place. It costs a lot to have so many. Even Rs. 15 per would mean Rs. 15,00,000.

How expensive is it for a flat of 2,000 sq.ft

Response from Premal Betai: You may require to contribute anywhere between Rs.2000 to Rs.5000 for a flat of 2000 square feet.
